  I want to thank my son's outstanding personal care team: Dina in Registration was efficient, courteous, and checked him in quickly and provided all of the necessary paperwork to complete the registration. Pre-op Brittany and Rosa prepped my son using professional care and careful adherence to the pre-op checklist, hospital gown, cap, IV, monitoring and vitals. Anesthesiologist, Genieve, was especially thoughtful, explaining the procedure in detail, what to expect, alleviating any concerns by answering all questions, and providing comfort and reassurance for a first time surgery patient, Operating Room, Harma, Yesenia, and David, providing outstanding support for the duration of the 2-hour procedure, performed by the skilled and brilliant Dr. Pardino. Sarah, recovery room nurse, monitored my son carefully, and provided me with detailed and important post-op instructions, with emphasis on Dr. Pardino's written instructions, and care indicators to monitor and follow-up home care.
  
  El Mirador Surgical Center has a pleasant waiting area for families of patients and has a computer screen that was especially comforting to me, that follows the patients' progress with secured ID, with constant updates, pre-op, in operating room, and post-op, allowing the waiting families to be included in the patient's surgical journey.
